 9  2000M Maiden Plate  Anton Marcus  17h30

Pre Race   :  I am just looking for him to produce what he shows us at home. He has blinkers on and will be encouraged to race far handier than in the past.

Post Race :  Sadly, he appears to be a complete non-trier. His work is very good but just does not reproduce it on the racetrack.

 Race No.  Distance  Jockey  Time
1  1400m Maiden Plate (3 yr olds)  Andrew Fortune  12h55

Pre Race   :  I am just bringing him back over the 1400m, almost like starting again. I feel he is a horse which wants 10 furlongs but I still feel he will give a good showing and if all goes his way, he can finish 4th or 5th.

Post Race :  This horse is very much a bit of a monkey. The moment you drop him in, which is what we did last time at Kenilworth, he just spits out the dummy. He is looking for a trip and I definitely think a pair of blinkers and kicking him off to the front to get him interested will result in a remarkable turnaround in form.

 Kenilworth  -  18 August 2012
 Race No.  Distance  Jockey  Time
 4  1400m  Glen Hatt  14h00

Pre Race   :  I would like to see him travelling better in the race and there is no reason he cannot earn a decent cheque here.

Post Race :  I was disappointed with this run. She is in the middle of vaccinations and maybe this is the reason. I think we should just ignore this run and move on from here. I also think he needs to be gelded.

 Kenilworth  -  28 July 2012
 Race No.  Distance  Jockey  Time
 2  1400m  Sherman Brown  13h15

Pre Race   :  He will need one more run before winning but I will be disappointed if he doesn’t earn a decent stake cheque here.

Post Race :  He is still a big baby. He was given a nasty bump at the beginning of the race which knocked him. After that it was an uphill battle for the jockey. He just needs racing experience and to strengthen up.

Pre Race   :  He also goes very well at home. He will need further but I do think he is good enough to finish in the first five. This horse has a lovely action so let’s hope that the heavy going doesn’t cause too much of a problem.

Post Race :  Very pleased with his performance. It is not easy first time out in the mud they have a 10 furlong pedigree. Will come on nicely with this run.
